PROPOSED CHANGE
IN THE MGA CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS
Notification and Posting Date of October 14, 2009
Consideration by the General Membership on December 5, 2009, at the Quarterly Meeting
The MGA Executive Board met on October 13, 2009. One item of discussion was a change in working conditions for starters and marshals. Executive Board members were informed that starters and marshals no longer receive pay and golf privileges at Glenlakes Golf Club but instead they are in a voluntary position with basically the same golf privileges. The Board was also informed that there are no longer any full time starters and marshals.
The MGA Executive Board recommends the following change in the Constitution and By-Laws that would continue to provide all starters and marshals with an opportunity to be a member of the Men’s Golf Association at Glenlakes Golf Club.
The change is to remove the words full time from the statement.
