This was received from a fellow member who felt that this would be the best way to communicate his feelings about the membership and Club.

My wife and I have been members of Glenlakes for 10 years now and we have seen many fine people come and go and rather than save my words for a drive-by or a funeral when we wish we had said it sooner, I would like to tell you all right now.  You are as fine a bunch of people as I have ever known.  You love to have a good time and to do interesting things.   Many of you volunteer your time and efforts to insure that the rest of us can enjoy good golf, fun get togethers, a web-site that keeps us up to date on events, golf trips, a beautiful golf course full of bluebirds, domino games and many organized functions which allow us to thoroughly enjoy all that Glenlakes and its members have to offer.   Too often, those who lead our organizations or organize a function hear the complaints and the whining and those of us who have enjoyed so much that has been offered over the years have become the silent majority.   So, on behalf of this silent majority, I would just like to say THANK YOU to all of you who have made our time at Glenlakes so enjoyable, and that certainly includes Tim and his great Staff.  If you agree with my letter, please show it the next time you are at the Club by saying "thank you" to someone who made your day more enjoyable, whether a playing partner or one of our organizers or leaders.   It will go a long way toward your and their enjoyment.   And, who knows, maybe we might even become the "vocal majority"--wouldn't that be wonderful?
