A little information about Fred Vosloh lll

Fred was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed participation as Deacon, Stephen Minister and Elder.  He also helped with snacks for Vacation Bible School and was Comforter for Logos program.  As chairman of the Property Committee, he was known as Mr. Fix It!

Fred became an avid golfer after caddying for his father in Miami Springs, FL. He enjoyed playing golf while attending University of Florida and upon graduation and receiving his degree in Mechanical Engineering, he moved to Cleveland, OH, and continued to play at different courses.  After moving to Baton Rouge, the family (Fred, Dot, Tim, Ruth and Fred IV)  lived on 13th fairway of Shenandoah Golf Course.  He played every weekend and also in a few tournaments, but really enjoyed playing golf after moving to Glenlakes in Foley where he became the treasurer of the Men’s Golf Association. He enjoyed playing golf with his two sons, Tim and Fred IV, and last summer was pleased to help his grandson earn his golf merit badge towards becoming an Eagle Scout. Friends referred to Fred as a “gentleman golfer”.
